LOL stands for Love Of Learning and this website was created to support homeschoolers in and around Western New York. The LOL Homeschool Group was established in July of 2008 and offers an active e-mail loop along with field trips, holiday parties, Mom's Night Out, family gatherings, and much more!

Park Day

  • Location: Hoyt Lake Park, Buffalo (behind Albright Knox)

Hoyt Lake Park is located right behind the Albright Knox Art Gallery (also where they do Shakespeare in the Park). There is a nice playground, areas for picnicking, some small trails to explore and lots of great Buffalo history to enjoy!

As always, we can meet for some casual playtime and lunch and if anyone would like to stay afterwards for letterboxing/ geocaching they are more than welcome! I have a box and stamp here all ready and would love the for the kids to get to hide one of their own! There are some perfect spots to hide letterboxes/ geocaches in this park!
